Dr. Wildaliz Caro

Dr. Wildaliz Caro is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico and her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She completed a Diploma in Eating Disorders and Obesity and received advanced clinical training in Madrid, Spain.
Dr. Caro serves as a Medical Expert in mental disability evaluations for the Social Security Administration. Throughout her professional career, she has provided individual and group psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and psychoeducational services for children, adolescents, and adults in clinical, educational, and community settings.
She is also an adjunct professor and has taught undergraduate and graduate psychology courses at several universities in both traditional classroom and online learning environments, including distance education.
Dr. Caro has presented on topics including eating disorders, obesity, child and adolescent mental health, and emotional well-being. She has also contributed articles on psychology to newspapers and magazines and is the author of the award-winning children’s book Catalina Feels Ugly, which promotes self-esteem, positive body image, and emotional resilience.
Her professional expertise also includes behavior modification, positive discipline, bullying prevention, emotional regulation, stress management, and child and adolescent development. Through her clinical practice, teaching, and professional work, Dr. Caro is dedicated to promoting mental health, increasing public awareness of psychological well-being, and helping individuals and families develop healthy coping skills, build resilience, and improve their quality of life.
