Our Story
Aura was founded by a core group of industry professionals who have a personal experience with the devastation of addiction. We set out to deliver top-tier addiction treatment services on a private, more intimate level, ensuring that no one falls through the cracks. Everyone who comes through our doors is seen and heard.
Balancing a family feel with industry-elite professionalism, we designed a 10-bed residential model to meet each client where they are with compassion. We believe in the principles of personalized, master-level treatment and have seen the benefits of 1:1 care. We welcome you to experience the same.

We believe that where you recover matters. Sterile, hospital-like environments don’t offer a comforting, luxurious feel where you can rest, refocus, and be restored. We’re changing all that, bringing southern hospitality to the forefront of the recovery process.
Many other detox or residential treatment facilities have 3 to 5 times the beds and half or less the number of staff. This is a recipe for clients who fall through the cracks, never complete the full continuum of care, and never experience true transformation.
At Aura Recovery, our facility has only 10 beds, and we staff a 1:1 provider-to-client ratio. This is the practical solution we apply to meet you where you are, get to know you as a person, and design a treatment plan that meets your needs.

Aura Recovery’s detox and residential treatment services are hosted in a large, southern-style home in Kentucky that has been fully renovated with luxurious touches that enhance comfort and promote rest. In this soothing environment, we’ll help you manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings. You’ll benefit from the care of 24-hour medical staff and an expert team of master-level clinicians. As a resident, clients will also enjoy delicious chef-prepared meals and a full juice and cereal bar available throughout the day.
